Practice

This is a new publication available digitally or in hard copy. It covers all the key navigational, port and pilotage functions and brings them together in one best Practice Manual. The Code has been generically written but can be easily customised to suit particular companies.

Cayman Islands Law and Procedures Training

STCW '95 I/10.2 requires the four senior officers onboard to have knowledge of the law and procedures of the Flag under which t hey sail.

Regs4ships has created a CD-based training program, taking about 1 hour, for a seafarer to read questions and fill in an answer book.

The answer book is marked by examiners at Regs4ships and a certificate issued. The certificate is evidence that the seafarer has the required standard of knowledge and is accepted by Flag State and Port State inspectors.
