STCW '95 I/10.2 requires the four senior officers on board to have knowledge of the law and procedures of the flag under which they sail.

Regs4ships has created a CD based training program, taking about 1 hour, for a seafarer to read questions and fill in an answer book.

This is marked by examiners at Regs4ships and a certificate issued. The certificate is evidence that the seafarer has the required standard of knowledge and is accepted by flag state and port state inspectors.
